** Honest Post**
To say that this rescue journey has been anything short of challenging would be a lie. I have really struggled the last year to keep pushing thru and continue moving forward with Crystals Clefts. Being a one man show is very difficult when trying to hand raise medically compromised puppies and also doing all the behind scene stuff including social media. Because of this certain rescue aspects have been put on the back burner because I simply can't do it by myself. Running a rescue really all depends on supporters and donations and without promoting the rescue donations just don't happen.
I also work fulltime in Veterinary medicine and have been the sole caretaker for my elderly mom. My mental health has taken a huge hit because of the amount of stress in my professional and home life but the only thing that makes me smile is when I see my puppies thriving.
Currently our account at our Veterinary Hospital is closed because we owe $4500 to them for services. Payments made on this account are coming out of my own pocket along with supplies needed for my current puppies. I'm putting my pride aside and begging for help with the current bill to help us move forward. Please for the love of all puppies I will even come pick up your dog p**p to work off this bill. Lol Seriously 😆
Here are some of our Angels Currently in rescue and foster to show just how worth saving their lives are.
1.) Val is a 2 year old French Bulldog who is on a Medical hold while she heals from her C-section. She will be spayed in October and available mid to late October.
2.) Cricket is a 8 week old German Shepard who has a cleft palate. Her palate is honestly not terrible at all. She eats normal dry food and loves her water bottle although she will drink from the bowl. She will need an active home as both her parents were working lines.
3.) Merlin and Marlin are pictured together. Merlin is the typical French Bulldog on his back lol and Marlin is a boxer who likes to burrow his face . Both are cleft lips and are 5 weeks old. They are starting real food this week and I'm sure will grow twice as big over the next few weeks.
4.) Bugg is a 8 week old pitty mix. Her mama was a very young mom who was a humane case. She was so sick that we were not sure she would survive. She went into early labor and had 8 premature puppies. Bugg was the only one to survive. She is a fighter and I will absolutely be super picky where she goes because she deserves the best.

A neighbor found her looking in their sliding glass door with ice dangling off her face and a wound by her tail this cold January.
Jaz is healthy, very affectionate, playful, and loving. She comes when you call and loves to be right beside you. She is looking for a family where she can be an indoor cat. Jaz has had a rough life and is ready for her happily ever after. Could you be the family of her dreams?

Dearest Rudy,
Never in a million years did I think my hospice puppy would live to be 1.5 years old. I can still remember getting the first picture and video of you and thinking how perfectly imperfect you were. There was no way I could say no. You needed me and I now realize how much your dad and I needed you. You are our greatest gift Rudy Tuddy. I hope you know just how much we loved you and I hope you find away to visit your dad and I often. You defied all that was stacked against you with strength and courage. Go run free and eat all the cookies you can and roll in the grass. Thank you for choosing us to be your pawrents because it was truly an honor.
