📸 CALL FOR PHOTOS 📸

We’re deep in the archives pulling together photos from the last 30 years of NCWSA!

We’re compiling a slideshow of NCWSA over the years and would love to see your pics whether they’re from this season or years ago. You can email them to [email protected], text them to Katy (email or DM for phone number), send us a Google Drive or Dropbox folder of images, or arrange for pick up of physical media. Photos of photos are fine, too! We’ll share the pics at this year’s awards night, so the sooner the better!

Thanks to everyone who has already sent photos our way.

🏆🎉 Boat Owner Appreciation & Awards Night 🎉🏆

It’s time to celebrate our 30th season on the water and all the progress we made as sailors this year. It doesn’t matter if you won every race or won none, showing up each week, learning new things, and building a community of strong, confident sailors is what we came to do!

Tuesday, October 6th
6:30p Mingle | 7p Program
EYC Patio
Awards night requires a lot of logistics from both the board and the club so RSVP is required by 9/30.

Award nominations are open now through 9/20 for end of season awards including:
🌟 Rookie of the Year
📈 Most Improved Sailor of the Year
🙌 Volunteer of the Year
🧭 Coach of the Year
⛵ Team Excellence
You can find the link in the comment below or the most recent racer. Please include a small write up to help us make the very tough decisions!

Thanks again for an amazing season. Can’t wait to celebrate!

Pack a Post Race Picnic!

It’s our last week of racing this week, but it’s also the Tuesday after Labor Day so Edgewater Yacht Club’s kitchen is CLOSED. Bar is open!

We’d love to see everyone hang out after racing and you’re more than welcome to bring in your own food - but you’ll also need to bring any napkins, plates, utensils, etc… as well. We hear a snacklebox is always a good option in these situations 😉

The rain tonight has us reflecting back on last month’s North Coast Invitational and lucky for us Jennifer Mangino Photography captured some beautiful photos of the weekend before Mother Nature had a change of plans for us.

Check out the full set of photos via the link in comments or in this week’s edition of The Racer!
