We are honored to officially announce two incredible leaders stepping into new roles on the Forever Kings Board of Directors.

Dr. Russell E. Whitney II, DBA-GBL, has been appointed as Board Chair of Forever Kings Inc., effective immediately following our recent board meeting. Dr. Whitney currently serves as the Director of People Operations and Entrepreneurship Programs at the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio and brings a powerful combination of leadership, strategy, mentorship, and heart for community impact.

Alongside him, Steven Van Vechten has been appointed as our new Co-Chair. Mr. Van Vechten currently serves as Brand Director of Puffs at Procter & Gamble and has faithfully served on the Forever Kings Board since 2021. His commitment, wisdom, and collaborative leadership have already made a lasting impact on our organization.

Together, these two strong men embody the excellence, integrity, and vision that continue to push Forever Kings forward. As we enter this next season, we are excited for the leadership they will provide as we continue empowering young men, strengthening families, and impacting our community for generations to come.

Please join us in congratulating King Jeffery Ramone Samuel Jr., our 2026 King of the Year!

King of the Year is the highest honor a Forever King can receive. It’s awarded to a graduating senior who truly embodies what it means to be a King, one who lives out our pillars of Kinghood, Brotherhood, and Servanthood every single day.

This year’s honor was presented by our 2025 King of the Year winners, passing the crown forward to the next deserving King a powerful moment of legacy and brotherhood. 🤝

After 6 years in Forever Kings, Jeffery has shown us exactly what that looks like. His character, his commitment, and his leadership have left a mark on this brotherhood that won’t be forgotten. We are beyond proud of the young man he’s become and excited for everything ahead of him.

A on-going tradition, four of our Forever Kings graduates are now interns at Hillman! During their internship there this summer, they will be getting hands-on experience and proving that when you give young men opportunity and belief, they show up ready.

Proud doesn't even cover it. 👑
