A successful high adventure shakedown weekend at Shawnee state forest. It was a challenge , wet but good weekend.

The scouts did awesome caving. Each one pushed their comfort zone and they crushed it.

Great weekend for backpacking at two lakes trails in Indiana. Not even the rain, good dampen for their spirits. Great training for high adventure this summer along with a great route for the younger scouts. We probably saw 20 turtles this weekend.

What great service campout at the wolf sanctuary. We did some service, got to see the wolves / foxes and the scouts built a really cool rock shelter twice. The weather was perfect and the night sky did not disappoint. If u get time check this place out in brookville Indiana.

We had a great feast at our annual Dutch oven campout. It was a chilly one but the scouts did great.

First Klondike in years and it was a success. Dan Beard council Viking Klondike at Camp Micheals was very well organized and had lots of good programming. They even were able to arrange for some cold temps and snow on Sunday morning.
