Thank you to First Commonwealth Bank for joining us on site yesterday for the first of two Real Estate Community Build volunteer days. As one of our top sponsors, they are helping support the construction of seven Habitat homes in Hamilton.

Special thanks to Doug Barnaclo for helping build this partnership. We appreciate First Commonwealth Bank's investment in our mission and community.

Today, we celebrated the dedication of two homes for Tammy, Kenyauta, and their families!

Tammy can’t wait to share her new home with her teenage daughter, Destiny. This home will provide stability for their family and a space she hopes they can benefit from for generations.

Kenyauta is a mother of five who works at a retirement home. She is excited to share this home with her three youngest children: Taymiah, Tayvion, and Tayvon. She looks forward to having a space she can call her own and having a “forever home” for her children.

Both women are the first people in their families to own their own home. We are so incredibly proud of all their hard work. Congratulations!

We were excited to welcome Masters Pharmaceutical to Habitat for Humanity for their first volunteer experience with us!

Team members traveled from across the country to Cincinnati for a day of service, spending the day in Hamilton helping build storage sheds, blow insulation, and paint.

Thank you, Masters Drug Company, for choosing to spend your time making a difference. We hope this is the first of many opportunities to work together!

Yesterday, we broke ground on our 31 home development, Clarence Place, in Oxford, OH.

This development marks a strategic shift for the organization as we scale our efforts to meet the region’s housing affordability crisis.

Clarence Place will be built in partnership with the City of Oxford and is supported by funds from the Butler County Board of Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Development. The City of Oxford specifically committed $1.4 million through Welcome Home Ohio funds and Butler County Arpa funds to help bring this project to fruition.

We thank every city leader, partner, supporter, and community member who joined us yesterday!

Last month, we successfully set our very first modular home in Latonia Lakes, Kentucky, as we continue exploring innovative approaches to homebuilding.

Built in a controlled factory environment and permanently affixed to a foundation, modular construction offers another path to creating safe, high-quality homes for families in our region.

“It offers a level of affordability and attainability that we have not had unless we add this as another option to our housing stock.” -Tamara Sullivan, CEO of Neighborhood Builds Modular
