Downtown Chico . . . WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🎨🍷✨A perfect fall evening, a tasting glass in hand, music drifting down the block, and a whole lot of “let’s pop in here” along the way. Art & W**e Walk, you treated us RIGHT.

We sipped and shopped. We found new favorite artists and caught up with familiar faces. And somewhere between the first stop and the last, a Friday night turned into one of those evenings that reminds us how much goodness lives downtown.

To the artists who shared their talent, the businesses who opened their doors, the beverage partners who brought the flavor, and the volunteers who kept it all moving . . . THANK YOU.

And to everyone who came out to wander, discover, and show our downtown some love? You made the night.

WORD ON THE STREET . . . Bird in Hand is still SPREADING ITS WINGS in Downtown Chico.

We’ve heard some questions about whether this longtime downtown favorite is closing, so we wanted to clear up the confusion. Bird in Hand is OPEN. Yep. 40+ years and going strong!

Our GM caught up with the owner, who shared that they’re looking forward to the holidays and already stocking up. Their online shop is doing well, too. Locals can order, have their finds gift-wrapped, and swing by to pick them up. Boom! A little holiday hustle, handled.

If it’s been a while since you popped in, consider this your friendly nudge. Browse a little, say hello, and see what catches your eye.

Downtown Chico does HALLOWEEN right, friends. 🎃👻 And this year? We’re shuttin’ down the streets and turning up the TREATS!

Save the date for TREAT STREET FESTIVAL on Friday, OCTOBER 30TH! Yep, the day BEFORE Halloween. Get that goodness penned on the calendar.

Downtown Chico . . . you’ve entered your SIP & STROLL era. 👊🏻 Our new ENTERTAINMENT ZONE is up and running, bringing a little extra flavor to your next downtown outing!

Here’s the good stuff: guests 21+ can purchase a drink to go from an authorized participating business and enjoy it while exploring within the designated zone. A little fresh air and a little shopping, mixed with a “let’s stay downtown a little longer” kind of afternoon or evening.

And that’s the idea, friends—more exploring, more gathering, and more love for our local businesses. 💛

Before you put a little SIP in your step:

🍺 Purchase your drink from a participating bar or restaurant.
🎟️ Wear the wristband and use the official marked cup they provide.
📍 Keep your beverage within the posted zone boundaries.
🕙 Zone hours are 10 am to 10 pm daily.
