Our Rotaract Chico team came together this past Saturday for a bike path cleanup on the stretch of path we’ve proudly adopted here in Chico. It was a fantastic day of service, and we want to say a big thank you to .velo for providing the equipment that makes this possible!

Community service is at the heart of what we do, and this project is just one of the many ways we strive to make a positive impact. 💪

Enjoy TWO hours of FREE downtown parking a day to make your local holiday shopping even more festive!

To make your holiday shopping easier in Downtown Chico, the City is offering free 2-hour parking beginning November 29th to December 24th. Visitors can enjoy free 2-hour parking from 9:00am-6:00pm in designated downtown areas as they shop, dine, and experience local events.

Key Details:
👉Free 2-hour parking will be available once per day.
👉Visitors who park in the 2-hour zones downtown do not need to pay; time limits will be enforced.
👉For the long-term zones in downtown, the first 2 hours will be free. Payment will be required for additional time, allowing for an extended stay.

🎁 Community Service / Social Alert 🎁

For December, we will be combining our Social with one of two community service opportunities!

Have you heard of a little thing called the "Angel Tree"? 🎄Chico Rotaract has adopted 4 Angel Tree children for Christmas this year and we will be heading out to shop for them this upcoming Monday, December 2nd! 🛒

We will be meeting up at Walmart @ 5:30pm and will break into groups to shop for our Angel Tree recipients together! ✨

If you can't make it to the shopping portion of the Angel Tree project, the Salvation Army will be needing help with sorting and distribution on Friday, December 20th from 8:30am - 12:00pm as well!

We hope to see as many of you there as possible on Monday to shop til we drop! 🛍️🎄

Great job to Annika on leading her first social/meeting as president today! 🎉 We even had a few Rotarian’s join us (plus a special guest, can you spot her?🐾)

We’re excited for this coming year, and already have some community service projects in the works! 🔨

Hi, all! We haven’t been super active on socials lately, but we have still been active as a club and out in our community!

Just last weekend we were back up in Paradise again with for another work day building houses along with their future families. The rainy weather can’t stop us!
