Alice and Lola have volunteered at many different types of programs and events, but one of her favorite memories is at The Nettelhorst School. At one of their visits, Lola was able to connect with a young child who was very afraid of dogs, gaining her trust and helping her overcome that fear.

We love sharing stories like this one and hope you will consider making a donation in honor the impact Lola and all of our other therapy dogs have on the participants we serve.

Our featured therapy dog team for the week will be Alice and Lola! Alice certified Lola to become a therapy dog in late 2024, but knew she was fit for therapy dog work as soon as she first met her. Follow along this week to learn more about their volunteer experience!
