Get ready for a magical morning filled with pancakes, books, imagination, and FUN!

Storybook Breakfast featuring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Niles Township.

Come dressed as your favorite storybook character!

Who will you come as? A princess? A superhero? A silly character? Let your imagination run wild! 👑🦸‍♀️🐻✨

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

To every woman experiencing domestic violence: you are not alone, you are not to blame, and you deserve a life filled with safety, dignity, peace, and love.

Leaving or asking for help can be incredibly difficult. Please remember that your story is not over. You are stronger than you may feel today, and there are people who care, who will listen, and who want to help.

We’re sharing a list of helpful resources below. If you need a service that isn’t listed, call The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence at 877-863-6338 for additional referrals.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to a safe place if you can. If possible, keep your phone nearby and reach out to someone you trust.

We’re so grateful for another beautiful day of bringing seniors in our community together over a warm meal, conversation, and smiles.

A heartfelt thank you to A Thousand Tales Bakery & Cafe for providing the delicious warm meals and yummy tres leches cake, and to Embrace Relief for their wonderful partnership and for providing our senior guests with a lovely bag of goodies. Thank you to Embrace Relief and Humans at Help Volunteers for staying vigilant and attentive to our guests’ needs throughout the entire time. Your generosity means so much to us! 💛

We’ll be back with another warm meal distribution for seniors on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 12–2 PM at Humans at Help Foundation, 4652 Oakton st. Skokie, IL 60076

Join us in celebrating our seniors and adults with a warm meal, good conversation, and community connection.

Enjoy a delicious meal courtesy of A Thousand Tales Bakery & Cafe Restaurant, coffee, activities, a surprise gift and time to socialize. ☕

Our seniors are an important part of our community, and we want them to feel seen, valued, welcomed, and included. Come share a meal with us and celebrate life together!

The food served will be Zabiha halal and guests are welcome to stay and enjoy their meal with us, or, if they prefer, they can take their meal home to enjoy later.

We hope to see you there! 💛
