🇮🇱 On 28 Iyar 5785 – May 26, 2025, Mizrachi – Religious Zionists of Chicago hosted a remarkable Yom Yerushalayim celebration that brought together over 400 people for a morning of unity, joy, and deep connection to Israel. The morning began at Kehilat Chovevei Tzion in Skokie with a most inspiring Shacharit and uplifting Tefillah Chagigit.

The delicious food and warm community spirit made it a celebration to remember—but what truly made it unforgettable was the riveting address by Chicago native, Rabbi Stewart Weiss.

Rabbi Weiss, a lifelong Religious Zionist, IDF father, community builder, and Torah educator, delivered a powerful 36-minute talk that electrified the room. He spoke with unparalleled passion and insight about Yerushalayim, the State of Israel, and the personal and national sacrifices that shape our connection to both. Drawing on his own family's deep involvement in Israel’s spiritual and physical defense, he brought Torah, history, and heart together in a way that left listeners profoundly moved.
