We hosted a Climate Optimism Yoga Class as part of Chicago Climate Week! One of our core values as an organization is Optimism: turning pessimism about climate change into action. We moved through a mindful flow then signed letters to representatives which were hand-delivered a week later in D.C. at our national conference.

Thanks to for hosting us!

The CCL Illinois Writers Group has had a busy summer! Led by our very own Chicago volunteer , these volunteers are advocating for various climate solutions in some of the state's most well-known publications: The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, and The Illinois Times. These are previews of their work, as we encourage you to support our volunteers and our state's publications by reading each of them.

If you are interested in writing a Letter to the Editor or an Op-Ed of your own, we encourage you to reach out to Joe, or connect with the Writers Circle Action Team on CCL Community.
