Summer Thoughts for Moms
A mother’s love is unlike any other.
We sacrifice because we want to.
We give because we want to.
We pour into our children because we love them deeply.
Yesterday wasn’t filled with expensive plans. We attended two events, made homemade frappuccinos, climbed into bed with popcorn, and ended the night with a movie together.
And you know what?
Those are the moments that matter.
As we head into a busy summer filled with camps, vacations, sports, and endless to-do lists, don’t forget that some of the most meaningful memories cost very little. A walk around the neighborhood. Ice cream on the porch. A movie night. A drive with the windows down. A conversation before bed.
Our children won’t remember every dollar we spent.
They will remember how we made them feel.
We get just 18 summers with them before adulthood begins to call their name. Eighteen opportunities to laugh, connect, listen, teach, and simply be present.
This summer, don’t stress about making everything perfect.
Make it meaningful.
The little things often become the big things in their memories.
Here’s to slowing down, being present, and soaking up every moment we can.
❤️ Mom, this is your reminder: Your time is one of the greatest gifts you’ll ever give.
