At a recent World Health Day event, children and families came together to share joy, creativity, and care across borders. As part of the gathering, children created get well cards for patients at St. Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti.

These cards are a beautiful reminder that NPH is a family, and everyone has a part to play, including our youngest supporters. Their thoughtful messages have already been shared with children receiving care at St. Damien, bringing smiles, encouragement, and a meaningful reminder that they are surrounded by people who care.

For 72 years, Father Wasson’s light has continued to grow. ✨

Since 1954, Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) has grown from one child in Mexico into a mission serving children and families across Latin America and the Caribbean. Today, that mission continues through residential programs, community programs, and access to health services, including specialized care for children and high-risk mothers at St. Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti.

Education gave Esmeralda more than a path forward. It gave her a way to help others. 🇬🇹✨

Today, she is studying to become an English teacher in Antigua, Guatemala. She is also already sharing that gift with young people, helping them learn in a way that feels dynamic, engaging, and fun.

After surviving a life-threatening illness, Davie found more than medical care at NPH Haiti St. Damien Pediatric Hospital.

What first seemed like a common sickness became something far more serious. At St. Damien, doctors discovered that fluid had built up around Davie’s heart, putting his life at risk. The medical team performed two surgeries to remove the fluid and stabilize him, giving Davie the chance to survive and begin healing.

For Davie, St. Damien became more than the hospital that helped save his life. It became family. A place where compassion, connection, and life-saving care helped him keep moving forward.
