Unforgettable moment over the weekend as Dr. Rand Diab threw out the first pitch at the Chicago Cubs game.

In honor of Arab American month, leader Dr. Rand was highlighted by the Cubs for her impactful community work and as the softball coach with ChiTown Muslimah Athletics. โšพ๏ธ๐Ÿงข

Congrats to the Chicago Cubs and on this historic day in the famed Wrigley Field. What a great day for Chicago and Muslim women.

๐ŸŒ™ Eid ul Fitr Mubarak! ๐ŸŒ™

As we come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan, we reflect on a month of spiritual growth, community and service. At Muslim Women's Alliance, we're filled with gratitude for the opportunity to facilitate daily Quran recitation for women, fostering a sense of connection and devotion.

Our community came together for weekly service projects, supporting Chicago's unhoused, Muslim women and men in incarceration, and providing dignity drives for unaccompanied minors at Bethany House as well as 400 women at Illinois Department of Corrections. These efforts remind us that faith is a catalyst for positive change.

This Eid ul Fitr, let's celebrate the values of compassion and empathy. Let's continue to uplift and support those around us, creating a ripple effect of love and generosity.

May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and may we emerge from this blessed month with renewed hearts and a commitment to serve.

Eid Mubarak to all from Muslim Women's Alliance! ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’›

"Whoever does not show mercy to our young, is not from us" -Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Muslim Women's Alliance is dedicated to nurturing and supporting our girls, providing opportunities for leadership and development.

In light of the devastating loss of children's lives around the world, we are moved by the dedication and care shown by so many of our youth volunteers during this blessed Ramadan.

We pray for the safety and well-being of all children. As they shape tomorrow's society, their growth and well-being are our shared responsibility.

May we work together to create a world where every child can grow, learn, and thrive in peace ๐ŸŒŸ

Happy Women's Day

Muslim Women's Alliance volunteers spent International Women's Day at packing hygiene kits and care packs for currently incarcerated sisters and brothers.

MWA's annual Dignity Drive uplifts the marginalized groups in our community. By providing Eid carepacks for our Muslim sisters and brothers in the prison system, it is a reminder that we are all connected and that they are part of our ummah.

Volunteers also supported underresourced women at Illinois Department of Corrections with female hygiene kits. Women helping women is the power of sisterhood.

Sisters Unite for Qiyam Night

All praise is to Allah swt for an incredible night of prayer and remembrance. Over 100 sisters gathered for MWA's 2026 Ladies Qiyam Intensive.

Led by Hafidha Maryam Salman, women spent the night praying and reciting Qur'an and dhikr in this blessed month of Ramadan.

DM us or comment "qiyam" and we will share the list of prayers and dhikr you can do for your qiyam at home.

May Allah swt accept. Ameen

Every Ramadan, Muslim Women's Alliance pour their efforts into bringing people together in faith and community.

This weekend's MWA Ramadan Campaign begins with daily recitation of 1 juz of Qur'an, followed by sisters once again coming together to worship Allah swt in qiyam prayer and dhikr.

MWA will also be empowering local girls scouts in their Kindness drive, providing winter kits to unhoused neighbors through Chi-Care and hygiene kits to unaccompanied minors at Bethany House.

Community is important in the ways we hold each other up, support those in need and strengthen the bonds of the ummah.

Please support MWA with first and foremost your du'a and time. Also consider MWA service programs for your Ramadan giving.
