What happens when a former member now living in Ireland comes to visit? She brings a quilt inspired by the "Wacky Women" of Windy City. So glad to see Suzanne again, and so delighted that so many of our new members got to appreciate our history of shared love of needlecraft!

One of the most amazing pieces I’ve ever seen in person. Stitched with 5 different thickness and texture of black silk on a high count white linen. A very successful exchange of "smalls" at today's end of the year party. Ribbon embroidery, thread painting, hardanger, pulled thread, canvas and cross stitch, temari, and sewing machine construction! Chapter members really stepped up! And now that our chapter meetings are over for the year, we're staying inside where it's warm and doing more stitching!
