Stuffed Love Stuffed Love shares that little bit of hope through hand-stitched heart pillows and more! They are distributed in major hospitals in eighteen different states.

We are proud to say that we have distributed thousands of heart pillows per year to various people, from those with congenital heart defects to those battling homelessness and poverty. One of my main projects is creating hand-stitched heart pillows for Conquering CHD, a national organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for those affected by congenital heart defects. These pillows are th

en used in a variety of ways, from propping up IVs, easing pain after surgery, being a superhero toy, and serving as a memento for the difficult times the family has survived. Hearts in Illinois go to Level I Trauma Center hospitals Chicagoland hospitals: Advocate Oak Lawn, Advocate Park Ridge, Rush, Comers Children’s Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital. We also help veterans, seniors, the developmentally disabled, the sick, and children in hospitals. We are honored to be able to share that little bit of hope with as many people as we can.

🚨 WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH JUNE — PLEASE DONATE! 🚨

Stuffed Love and 23rd Ward Alderman Silvana Tabares are collecting donations through June 30th to help stock the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health, 5522 S. Pulaski, for families who are struggling right now.

The need is real. More families are coming to us for food, diapers, baby supplies, toiletries, and basic essentials. Every single donation helps.

Items needed:
Baby shampoo & lotion
Baby wipes
Diapers
Non-perishable food
Non-perishable baby food
Period products
Travel-sized toiletries

🚨 COMMUNITY UPDATE 🚨

Stuffed Love Food Pantry distributions are currently not on a set schedule as we work to secure additional product.

Distributions will return to both locations — the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health and the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at Iglesia Santa Cruz — as soon as we have enough product available.

In the meantime, the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health, 5522 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, is being stocked daily as food comes in.

Please continue to follow our page for the latest updates. We will announce future distributions as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we continue doing everything we can to serve our community.

With no power in her own home, she chose not to let good food go to waste. Instead, she thought of families who might need a meal and stocked the Stuffed Love refrigerator.

That's what community looks like.

Power outages are hitting families across Chicago and the suburbs. If you are without power and worried your food may go bad, please don’t wait until it spoils.

❤️ Before it goes bad — give it to us.

Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health can accept safe food donations, including:

🥫 Non-perishable food
🥛 Perishable food
🧊 Cold or frozen items
🍎 Fresh food
📦 Sealed, unopened, unexpired items

We have a refrigerator and freezer on site to help keep food safe.

We are so excited to welcome Buck's Farmstand as a new community partner. Their generosity is already making a difference, helping us fill the refrigerators at the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health, 5522 S. Pulaski with fresh tomatoes and apples for families in need.

Community is about neighbors helping neighbors, and partnerships like this remind us that kindness can be grown, shared, and multiplied.

☀️ Summer Meals & Snacks for Kids 🍎🥪

At Stuffed Love, we believe every child deserves access to healthy, nutritious meals all summer long. When school is out, free meals and snacks are still available through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) at schools, parks, libraries, and community locations across the country.

✅ FREE meals for all children and teens 18 and under
✅ Available throughout the summer at community sites
✅ Some rural communities offer meal pick-up or delivery options
✅ Eligible families may also qualify for Summer EBT benefits
✅ Available to individuals over 18 with disabilities participating in eligible school programs

Please help us spread the word and share this resource with families in your community. Together, we can help ensure that no child goes hungry during summer break. ❤️
