Her Mentor Angel "gave permission to laugh and enjoy life" — Yesterday's breakfast was one for the books. 🧡

We had the honor of hosting author and cancer advocate Annabelle Gurwitch — and wow, did she deliver. Surrounded by friends, Board members, and incredible community partners, we laughed, cried, and felt the full weight of what mentorship really means.

Annabelle shared deeply personal reflections on her cancer experience and her Mentor Angel who changed everything for her, calling that connection "the beginning of [her] ability to function." This moving tribute to her late Mentor Angel was a reminder of why this work matters so much.

We were even joined by her Mentor Angels' family, who made the morning that much more special.

Through her book, her NPR appearances, and her willingness to share her story, Annabelle is helping make sure no one faces cancer alone.
