Bish Wish Charity 50% of all product sales are donated to Ronald McDonald Charities. THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR MANY FAMILIES. TWENTY ONE OF THOSE DAYS WERE ON LIFE SUPPORT.

THE BISH WISH STORY:

MY PARENTS FORTUNATELY LIVED A FEW MILES FROM THE NICU AT CHRIST HOSPITAL WHEN I REQUIRED THEIR SERVICES AS AN INFANT. RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES PROVIDES A HOME NEAR THE HOSPITAL FOR FAMILIES WITH SICK CHILDREN. THIS PAGE IS TO RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT RMHC

BORN WITH LUNG ISSUES IN 1995, I SPENT MY FIRST THREE MONTHS IN THE NEONATAL UNIT AT CHRIST HOSPITAL IN OAK LAWN, I

L. IN MY JUNIOR YEAR AT ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY, MY ENGLISH PROFESSOR ASKED US TO DRAW A BIRD. A CLASSMATE, NOTICING ART WAS NOT MY STRONG SUIT, POSTED MY PICTURE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. MANY PEOPLE THOUGHT MY BIRD LOOKED LIKE A FISH, AND THUS, THE “BISH” WAS BORN. BLESSED WITH SUCH A FORTUNATE OUTCOME AND THE NEED TO GIVE BACK, 50% OF ALL SALES ARE DONATED TO RONALD MCDONALD CHARITIES. MY “BISH WISH” IS A SPEEDY RECOVERY FOR ALL!

We will soon start planning our second Bish Wish Bash to be held sometime in the later half of 2019. We also hope to have a small-type fundraiser sometime before that. In the meantime, we still have Bish Wish apparel for sale ($16.00) of which half is donated. Did we mention the onesies are a great new baby/shower gift?

Dropped off the money we raised from the Bish Wish Bash along with a Bish Wish hat. That makes $4,636.00 since we started last May. We still have these hats available for $16.00 of which 50% is donated to RMHC. They come in many different colors. As always, thank you for your support!

Completely overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of everyone that attended and helped out at our first Bish Wish Bash! It was a smashing success and we raised $3,292.00! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and look forward to seeing you next time.
