We are pleased to announce four Wright Spirit Awards and two Conservancy Awards for 2026!

This year’s honorees include stewards of private homes in Phoenix and the Chicago area, the curator of an important archival collection, and attorneys who have made critical contributions to the Conservancy’s work. The awards, which will be presented at the gala during our annual conference in Scottsdale, recognize extraordinary commitment to preserving the built works of Frank Lloyd Wright and enriching his legacy.

This week, the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge joined The 20th-Century Architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge stretches across nearly half a million acres of forests, prairies, and wetlands in Georgia - but its significance now officially spans the globe. The Conservancy congratulates all who worked for over four decades towards the inscription of the 27th U.S. World Heritage site, knowing the rigors of the process firsthand.

As we celebrate, we also recognize growing threats to environmental conservation and historic preservation. We must take this moment to redouble our commitment to protecting these places that matter profoundly to all of humanity.
