Since our founding in 1989, the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy has been advocating to preserve every Wright-designed building, so they can continue to inspire for generations to come.

Our mission hasn’t wavered: the Conservancy is the only organization that advocates to preserve all Wright-designed buildings, in partnership with every building steward, from private homeowners to public sites.

Maya Moran Manny, longtime steward of the Wright-designed Tomek House in Riverside, Illinois, died peacefully last month surrounded by her family. Thanks to all who joined us and helped make Out and About Wright St. Louis a huge success! Please mark your calendars for our annual conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, November 4-8 (date corrected). The Conservancy office is closed today but will reopen Tuesday, May 5.

Congratulations are once again due to Tom & Elsa Katana, owners of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Euchtman House in Baltimore, Maryland! Today, the six-year project they worked on is receiving an award for Excellence in Restoration from the Maryland Historical Trust. The Conservancy honored the Katanas with a Wright Spirit Award in 2025 for their efforts to preserve and restore the Euchtman House.

Our spring tour event got off to a great start today as we traveled to Springfield, Illinois, to tour the Dana-Thomas House and the Lawrence Memorial Library. We look forward to a weekend of excellent tours in the St. Louis area!
