🌟 Empowering the Next Generation: Rooted & Rising! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce Obaro Village: Rooted and Rising (“Obaro” meaning “Future” in the Urhobo language of Nigeria). This transformative program is designed for rising 6th to 9th graders from the African Diaspora—including African American, African, Afro‑Caribbean, immigrant, refugee, and unchurched youth.

Obaro Village is more than a summer program; it’s a community where youth find cultural affirmation, spiritual engagement, and educational equity. We are weaving Black Catholic spirituality with cultural dignity to empower our youth through:

🚀 STEAM Education & Academic Intrigue: Hands-on science, tech, engineering, arts, and math.

🙏 Faith Formation & Community: Deepening spiritual roots and building lasting bonds.

💼 Leadership & Career Exploration: Inspiring future leaders through college exposure and career paths.

🤝 Intergenerational Mentorship: Connecting youth with mentors who guide and inspire.

📅 Choose from Two Powerful Sessions:

Session 1: June 13 – June 19

Session 2: July 11 – July 17

Space is limited to 40–50 participants per session. Give your child the foundation to rise into their future!
