Our after-school programs return next week, starting Monday, August 24. Help your child find their people in our Neighborhood Choir Programs! Two rehearsals a week, sliding-scale tuition and a chance to perform on Chicago’s biggest stages. We can’t wait to welcome them to our movement.

Meet Taylor Edwards, the choreographer behind our new “Speed of Light” video!

We were so excited to reunite with Taylor on this project after first collaborating with her on Chance The Rapper’s “Chi-Town Christmas” in 2020. Taylor is a choreographer and dancer based in Chicago who has collaborated with acclaimed artists like Missy Elliott and Ginuwine. She is currently the Associate Artistic Director & Company Member at Hiplet Ballerinas (Hiplet_Ballerinas).

Hey, that's us! 😍

We're proud to call Austin home to one of our 12 Neighborhood Choir Programs. The Kehrein Center for the Arts is our rehearsal space, and we often perform there too, including the pictured Jazz Day celebration and collaboration with our friends at Ravinia Festival Jazz Scholars!

From a renovated concert auditorium to a youth urban design group, these arts spaces are contributing to the neighborhood's revival.

70 years of alumni in one room. What a magical musical moment! ❤️

Thank you to all of our alumni who made it to our Sing In the 70th! Alumni Kickoff Event. It was a heartwarming evening full of joy, dancing and song. Witnessing the cross-generational connection as alumni who were there when Rev. Moore founded the choir connected with alumni who had just graduated this year was a testament to the mission of this organization: to connect people through music.

“Speed of Light” is a cover of the Chance The Rapper ⭐️ song from his album Star Line, which celebrates its first anniversary this month.

Across a decade of artistic collaboration, we have appeared in performances and creative projects led by Chance the Rapper, including Coloring Book (2016), The Big Day (2019), Google’s 2020 Year in Search, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (2021), Magnificent Coloring World (2021) and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve (2025/26) featuring Uniting Voices alumni.
