Everybody already knows Edgewater is the best neighborhood in Chicago for Thai cuisine, but it just got even better.

Remember to register for our Happy Hour Networking event ONE WEEK FROM TODAY at the coolest rooftop bar in Edgewater (Tesfa - Ethiopian Cuisine).

Great way to get your foot in the door with the Edgewater business community, learn about Edgewater Chamber, meet local business owners, enployees, entrepreneurs, clients and neighbors. Also an excellent opportunity for local job seekers and freelancers.

Attention Property Owners in SSA 26:

We still need your help renewing our Special Service Area!

If SSA 26 expires, Edgewater's business districts will lose funding for sidewalk litter abatement, landscaping, streetscaping, holiday decor, sidewalk snow removal, neighborhood branding, public art, and more!

If you own property on Broadway, Bryn Mawr, Devon, or Granville in Edgewater (or know somebody who does) please have them contact Edgewater Chamber as soon as possible. We need your signature to keep providing these services.

The cleanest, most attractive, and most competitive business districts in Chicago all have strong SSAs. It's important that services remain consistent without interuption.

Edgewater Chamber is sad to learn of the passing of Chicago Department of Transportation's Riley O'Neil, who was struck while riding his bike this weekend.

Riley led Chicago’s bike parking program for several years. More recently, he was helping lead CDOT’s school zone safety work and bus priority projects. He cared deeply about making biking, rolling, walking, and riding better for everyone.

Many chambers of commerce and community organizations in Chicago worked directly with Riley over the last decade to install tens of thousands of neighborhood-branded SSA-funded bike racks, like our blue Edgewater bike racks, all over the city.

Please remember that cyclists, scooter riders, skateboarders, and rollerskaters are our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and partners. Slow down, and make sure to check behind you after parellel parking before opening your door in a bike lane. Chicago's streets are for everyone.
