ISFFA Chicago Leaders Recognized at the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) Leader Recognition & Awards Dinner

ISFFA Chicago was proud to be represented at the ICPAS Leader Recognition & Awards Dinner held on June 18, 2026, at The Metropolitan in Chicago.

During the evening, our Executive Vice President, Ivory "Ivy" Pineda, was formally recognized as the recipient of the 2026 Lester H. McKeever Jr. Advancing Diversity Award – Emerging Leader. This prestigious recognition celebrates emerging leaders who are making a meaningful impact by advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the accounting profession.

Joining the celebration was ISFFA Chicago President, Andrew Guerrero, CPA, who was recognized at last year’s awards dinner as the 2025 Joshua Lance Young Professional Leadership Award recipient.

To have consecutive ICPAS award recipients within our chapter’s leadership is a remarkable milestone and a testament to the dedication, service, and leadership exemplified by our officers. Their achievements reflect ISFFA Chicago’s ongoing commitment to developing leaders, empowering Filipino finance and accounting professionals, and making a positive impact in our communities and the profession.

Congratulations once again to Ivy on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to the Illinois CPA Society for celebrating leaders who inspire others to lead with purpose and serve with excellence.

The ISFFA Chicago Belmonte-Priebe Accounting Scholarship Program is now accepting applications!

We are proud to support and empower the next generation of CPAs by recognizing deserving accounting students who demonstrate:

- Leadership potential
- Financial need

Established to expand educational opportunities for students in the Philippines—particularly graduates of provincial high schools pursuing the CPA profession—this scholarship is an investment in the future of our profession and our community.
