We are a proud partner of UnidosUS the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re honored to spotlight smaller organizations in our communities that we support through UnidosUS and its Financial Empowerment Network (FEN), a network of local organizations providing workforce training, homeownership and personal finance workshops.

Check out the amazing work of the four FEN partners we supported in 2026:
✨ Chicanos Por La Causa – Chicanos Por La Causa - CPLC
✨ SERJobs for Progress – SERJobs
✨ Mujeres Latinas en Acción – Mujeres Latinas en Accion
✨ Eastmont Community Corporation – Eastmont Community Center

Did you know breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death among women? And while breast cancer is less common in men, the American Cancer Society estimates that about 2,670 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2026.

No one fights cancer alone. Join us and American Cancer Society as we raise awareness about breast cancer this October.

We love seeing Kemper employees come together to support students and schools in their communities through our shared philanthropic focus on Education.

This year’s school supply drive supported local schools across the country, including several that The Kemper Foundation is proud to partner with through Read Conmigo and the Kemper Scholars Program.

Thank you to Kemper employees for helping students start the school year with the supplies they need to learn and thrive!

Earlier this year, the Foundation visited Escalona Elementary PTA to celebrate kindergarten teacher Cindy de la Torre, a Spring 2026 Read Conmigo Educator Grant recipient.

Cindy received funding for manipulatives, educational games, bilingual books, and flexible classroom furniture to create an engaging dual-language learning environment for her students.

We were honored to join California State Officials in recognizing Cindy's incredible work and to surprise her class with backpacks filled with bilingual books and school supplies for every student! Swipe through to see the celebration!

One of the most rewarding parts of the Read Conmigo Grant Program is seeing firsthand how educators and schools are innovating in dual-language education with their grants.

This year, The Foundation visited Orangewood Elementary School to celebrate Read Conmigo School Impact and Educator Grant recipients alongside special guest Senator Susan Rubio. We were amazed by everything they've accomplished and excited to see what comes next.

Swipe through to see the incredible learning environments they're creating!
