Chicago Send Relief and Iglesia Ciudad de Gracia partnered together to hand out hunger boxes at Centro Infantil Consuelo Lee Corretjer daycare! The dayacare was excited to have us, and we were thankful for the collaboration. Many people happily took the boxes and wanted to learn more about Ciudad de Gracia, the church next door.

We are thankful for our partnership with Children's Hunger Fund who has generously supplied these boxes to us! Thank you CHF!

LifePoint Church came ready to serve this spring! Coming from Tennessee, they compassionately served our neighbors and engaged our city with the gospel.

It was wonderful to get to know each person; to serve together with the hope of seeing our city transformed for Christ. They brought a lot of life and creativity to our ministry center! We hope to have them come again!

We were thrilled to have Beebe First Baptist Church serve with us this Spring! They were full of life and had a passion to serve our neighbors well in Jesus's name. It was a joy to get to know each of them, and they encouraged and refreshed our hearts as we labor in Chicago for the gospel.

Bradfordville Baptist brought the energy for their spring mission trip with Chicago Send Relief! They served diligently and had a beautiful sense of gospel integrity in everything they did.

When it snowed, they danced (literally!) which was a hilarious contrast to locals that were ready for sunshine! That jubilant spirit painted their time here, and they brought joy to our neighbors. Their service was their worship and they sought to make Christ known in a city gripped by darkness.

Metro Community Church was our first mission team for spring and they came in ready to learn and serve! Two of their team members had come to Chicago Send Relief multiple years in a row, which is incredibly encouraging to our ministry. They were a joy-filled, gospel-focused team that took every opportunity to serve our neighbors in Chicago. They were so much fun to get to know!

On Tuesday, Chicago Send Relief partnered with Immanuel Baptist Church to serve UIC students hot chocolate and have gospel conversations! We served over 250 cups of hot chocolate and had dozens of gospel conversations.

One of our conversations was with a Hindu student who approached us, not interested in hot chocolate, but eager to learn more about Christianity. He became especially especially interested in how Christians reach heaven not by trying to be a good person, but by God’s grace alone. It was easy to tell that he had a restless soul that was searching for the peace that only Jesus can give him. He took some of our evangelism material and headed off to whatever he had next, deeply considering our conversation. It was so exciting to see God working in this young man’s life!

We had some incredible dialogues, reaching students of all different religious backgrounds. Why do we do this? We want everyone to know that God is loving and merciful to us sinful people, which is ultimately realized in Jesus dying the death we deserve. The gospel is glorious and college students need to hear it! Immanuel Baptist, thank you for partnering with us!

🇻🇪 The situation in Venezuela is rapidly unfolding, bringing uncertainty and new challenges for families already facing years of hardship. In times like these, the local church remains a steady source of hope.

For years, Send Relief has served vulnerable Venezuelans by partnering with local pastors and Baptist churches—providing food, medical care, and sustainable solutions that restore dignity and point people to Christ. Through trusted partnerships inside Venezuela and across the region, churches are equipped to serve as hubs of compassion in the midst of crisis.

As instability increases, these relationships position Send Relief to respond wisely and quickly—meeting urgent needs while sharing the lasting hope of the gospel.

Last Saturday we helped Ashburn Baptist put on their toy drive outreach! It was a blistering cold day, but so many families were blessed by choosing gifts for their children and receiving prayer while their gifts were custom wrapped. It was a tremendous joy to see how organized and effective their outreach was, and how many heartfelt conversations were had at the prayer tables. The church's heart was to bless the community by sharing the ultimate gift-- the gift of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ-- which is the real reason we joyously celebrate Christmas!
