🚨🚨🚨 Coming soon to a rear view mirror near you - our new Ambulance 8. 🚑🚑🚑

After years of work, fundraising, community effort and investment, the Squad's 2025 Freightliner with a PL Custom Emergency Vehicles box and fresh equipment will enter service in the next few months after training and testing.

Thanks to Apparatus Planning Committee members: Chief Jason Lobley, Deputy Chief John Machen, Treasurer Allan Schauber, Justin Parsons, and Brad Russum who traveled to PL Customs factory in New Jersey to complete the final inspection on the long awaited “A8.”

We can't wait to show her off and highlight our committment to Kent County, and all who live, work and visit.

How was everyone's weekend and America 250 celebration? We hope you enjoyed the fireworks. Thanks to our friends in Town of Rock Hall we're celebrating taking home the first place ambulance award. We appreciate Crystal and Bryan for representing and James Cook for the photos!

The Kent County Library in Chestertown from 9:30am - 6pm
The Kent County Community Center from 8am - 5:30pm

The Kent & Queen Anne's Rescue Squad was proud to join community partners at Kent County High School for the Prom Promise Mock Accident – Making Safe Choices event.

It included a powerful, real-life simulation with live crash demonstration, DUI arrest scenario, and EMS rescue response, providing students with a vivid look at the consequences of impaired and distracted driving. The goal is to raise awareness and encourage students to make safe, responsible decisions—especially during prom season.

Thanks to all who participated and Maryland State Police - Aviation Command for the fly-in by Trooper 1.
