How does my donation to Kidfunds help special needs children? Proceeds to Kidfunds pay for therapeutic scholarships for low income and un/under insured families. Social clubs for developmentally delayed children, music therapy and private occupational, speech, and physical therapy are examples of the types of services covered by these scholarships. What percentage of my donation goes directly to therapy for a child?
100% of your donation will provide financial assistance for therapy costs for a local child in need. Kidfunds is tax exempt under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Tax Id: 27-0280144). Donations therefore are usually deductible. You should consult with your tax professional as to how your contribution is to be treated.
