We provide hospice care, palliative care, VNA Meals on Wheels of Porter County, the Medical Guardian alert system, grief support for anyone who has lost a loved one, grief support for children at the Phoenix Center, and a We Honor Veterans Program.

🍲💜 Our Team is SOUPER! 💜🍲

In celebration of Pastoral Care Week, we gathered today to share some delicious homemade soups, warm conversations, and a little extra appreciation for the incredible people who make VNA so special!

Just like a comforting bowl of soup, our pastoral care team brings warmth, kindness, and nourishment to the hearts of those they serve. Their compassion, presence, and unwavering support make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, families, and fellow staff members.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to today’s luncheon and helped make it so souper special! We are grateful for a team that continues to pour love and compassion into everything they do. 💜

We’re grateful to be here today as part of the hospital’s new nursing orientation, sharing the benefits of hospice care and how we support patients and their families. 💙

From comfort and symptom management to emotional and spiritual support, hospice brings compassionate care to patients and those who love them.

Collaborating with our local hospitals helps us connect patients and families with the support they need. We’re happy to be part of the community we serve and thankful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and work together! 🌟

🎀 National Mammography Day 🎀

Today, VNA recognizes the importance of breast health, early detection, and the strength of those affected by breast cancer.

We stand in support of those currently fighting, celebrate the courage of survivors, honor the memory of those we’ve lost, and extend compassion to the families and loved ones walking alongside them. 💗

Early detection can save lives. We encourage everyone to prioritize their health, stay informed, and speak with their healthcare provider about recommended breast cancer screenings.

Together, we can spread awareness, offer hope, and remind those affected by breast cancer that they are never alone.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the precious little lives that left an everlasting imprint on our hearts, no matter how briefly they were with us.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a time to recognize the families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, infant loss, and other heartbreaking losses.

At VNA, our hearts are with every parent, family member, and loved one who carries the memory of a little life gone too soon. We recognize that love is not measured by the amount of time we have together, but by the lasting impact a life leaves behind.

Some lives are brief, but the love they leave behind lasts a lifetime. 🦋

Today, we remember. We honor. We stand beside you. 🩷🩵
