Moving into a new home can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. In the middle of boxes, paperwork, keys, and change, it is often the simplest things that help a person settle in: a clean towel, a box of tissues, a warm meal, a roll of paper towels, and a few everyday items already waiting when they walk through the door.
That is the kind of care Thrivent is helping provide for the 23 future residents of The Crossing. Through thoughtfully assembled Welcome Home baskets, Thrivent is helping ensure that each resident arrives to more than just an apartment—they arrive to a warm welcome.
As Thrivent shared, they wanted to support Project Neighbors because they "love the mission behind the organization" and wanted to help welcome residents into their new homes "with a reminder of the care, support, and memories that will soon be curated in their new space."
That spirit reflects Thrivent's broader commitment to helping people live generously and create positive impact in the communities they love. Their gift is a tangible reminder that the residents of The Crossing are not beginning this new chapter alone. Before the first box is unpacked or the first meal is cooked, a community is already welcoming them home.
Thank you, Thrivent, for helping make The Crossing feel like home from day one.
