Your membership makes a difference!

In addition to supporting CAC's vision of a more equitable and inclusive Chesterton Art Center, membership comes with associated member benefits, such as tuition discounts and the opportunity to sell artwork in the CAC gift shop!

“4th Street Print Exhibition” invites you to explore the many ways artists can transform an idea through the process of printmaking. Bringing together artists working across a range of techniques and approaches, the exhibition celebrates the variety, experimentation, and unexpected outcomes that make printmaking so compelling. It can be a fine art practice, a tool for storytelling and personal expression, a means of political and social commentary, or a way of sharing ideas with a wider audience. From traditional techniques to experimental processes, printmaking has long connected art with communication, community, and everyday life.

“4th Street Print Exhibition” features work by Alex Velázquez Brightbill, Andrea Williams, Anna Wagner, Atlan Arceo-Witzel, Brandon Johnson, Carlos Barbenera, Carol Estes, Carolyn Lelek, Colin May, Corey Hagelberg, David Tvaroha, Dawn Diamantopoulos, Georgia Geis, Ida Short, Kaitlyn Stancy, Laurel Izard, Laurie Rousseau, Lucas Cordes, Melissa Washburn, Ramiro Rodriguez, Sarah Mueller, and Steve Garst.

This annual tradition showcasing our amazing CAC Members is back—and this year, we’re inviting our member artists to participate with a new, streamlined submission format. Each member artist may submit one original artwork, no larger than 30" in any direction. All artwork must be professionally presented, with 2D works framed and wired for installation.

We’re also excited to introduce multiple award prizes, including the Larry Brechner Memorial Prize for Best in Show, celebrating Larry's passion and commitment to CAC and all the artists that call us home and to the outstanding work from our talented member community.
