Strategy looks great on paper. The real test is what happens next.

For PMIMSL Lunch & Learn, Terrance Bullock, PMP, will share the Operational Alignment Framework, a practical way to connect long-range strategy with day-to-day ex*****on.

Terrance brings experience in PMO development, strategic planning, large-scale improvement initiatives, and public-sector operations through his work with St Louis Public Schools and PMIMSL’s Youth & Social Impact efforts.

This session will focus on goals, KPIs, leadership cadence, gap analysis, and accountability. In other words, how project managers can help teams move beyond completed tasks and show 📚️ measurable impact.

A few months ago, a professional with 20 years of experience was applying for roles she was fully qualified for and hearing nothing back.

Her profile looked solid. Her experience was there. But LinkedIn’s 🔍 search and ranking systems had changed, and most people did not realize how much.

At this Pivot Point Collective session, Frank Alaniz will break down how LinkedIn’s new 360Brew AI evaluates profiles, what recruiter searches are prioritizing now, and why older optimization strategies are falling behind.

The session will cover:

• How LinkedIn’s AI evaluates profiles in 2026
• Why verified skills now matter more than endorsements
• What behavioral signals affect recruiter visibility
• How Creator Mode and LinkedIn newsletters influence discoverability
• Practical profile updates project professionals should make now

In 2025, PMIMSL awarded three $1,500 scholarships after receiving eight applications. This year, the response grew to 40 applicants, and the board expanded the program to support four students in 2026.

Thank you to everyone who helped continue and strengthen this effort over the years, including Dr. Tonya S. Rivers, Anne Haltenhof, Marina Malkina, Sherri Ware, and Terri Bullock.

Congratulations 🎉 again to this year’s recipients. We’re excited to see where your journey leads next.

Thinking about the ✏️ PMP?

Whether you’re planning to take it soon or waiting for the July update, the preparation stays (mostly) the same.

➡️ Shifting from memorizing terms to applying them in real situations will make a big difference. That change alone can boost your confidence walking into the exam.

If PMP prep is on your radar, here are a few tips to help tighten your approach. ⤵️

Career transitions don’t come with 🔍 clear answers. Most of the time, you’re figuring it out as you go.

Pivot Point Collective is built for that stage.

This is a working session with peers navigating similar shifts, sharing what they’re seeing in the market and what’s actually helping them move forward. No scripts. No formal structure. Just real conversation and practical perspective.

Over time, it becomes more than a one-off session. It’s a group you stay 🔗 connected to as your next step takes shape.
