๐ What a day. What a community. What a beginning. Alhamdililah (Thank God).
Yesterday, families gathered for the very first Salam Day in Saint Louis, and we are still soaking it all in.
From guided nature walks and bee encounters to reptiles, service projects, outdoor adventures, community partner organizations, and countless smiles, Salam Day became everything we hoped it would be: a place where families could connect, learn, serve, and serve together.
To every volunteer, sponsor, vendor, organization, donor, troop leader, scout, parent, and attendee: thank you. This event was built by a community that believes in creating spaces where our Muslim youth can grow with confidence, curiosity, and compassion.
This was our first Salam Day, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our booth sponsors, financial sponsors, volunteers, and families who made it possible.
