New Member of the Year ✨Selena Washington

We are giving our Sistermom Selena Washington all her flowers. 💕💙

In just her first year as a member of the 5-Star St. Louis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Mother Selena has shown us exactly what leadership, sisterhood, and service look like in action.

A phenomenal leader, Sistermom, and teammate, Mother Selena has distinguished herself through her exceptional work ethic, passion for our organization, and commitment to innovative, impactful programming. Serving on the Nominations, Foundation, Children’s Cluster, and Holiday Cultural Committees, she has consistently brought energy, creativity, and collaboration to every endeavor.

One shining example was the memorable 5th/6th Grade Group program centered on the CROWN Act, which she helped lead alongside fellow grade group mothers. The experience was thoughtful, engaging, and empowering; elevating our programming to a new level while fostering meaningful conversations about identity, confidence, culture, and advocacy for our children.

Mother Selena’s willingness to lead, support others, and embrace new ideas has already left a lasting mark on our chapter. Her servant leadership and dedication embody the very best of Jack and Jill.

Congratulations, Mother Selena, on being named New Member of the Year! We are grateful for all you have contributed in your very first year and cannot wait to see the impact you will continue to make in the years ahead. 💙💗
