Hope's Promise Equine Assisted Activities Programs Hope's Promise offers a variety of programs for different populations with our miniature therapy horses.

Our horses travel all over New Jersey for therapy visits, Reading & Informational programs, Educational programs, Horsemanship programs, Programs for At-Risk Youth and/or those with Behavioral Issues, and Empowerment Programs. We visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, hospitals, rehabs, day programs, schools, university, camps and libraries. Maureen Coultas has over 35 years

of riding experience, and 21 years of horse ownership, care and training. She is a PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor experienced working with individuals of all ages. Mother of 4 beautiful daughters and grandmother to 3 perfect grandchildren.

At Hope’s Promise, our Therapeutic Riding Program helps children and adults with disabilities across Northern and Central New Jersey build confidence, independence, balance, and coordination in a safe, supportive space. Through riding sessions, horsemanship activities, and the quiet bond between horse and rider, participants are met exactly where they are and encouraged.
