Several years ago, many teams worked together with those living in El Batey to build a Community Center. Once the structure was built, the government would send teachers. This has been a huge blessing to the community! Many classes are held in this building including cosmetology and sewing. Thanks to Woodside Church, there is now a new space for a computer lab! These opportunities transform communities and bring lasting change for self sufficiency.

Woodside Church poured the floor at Noel and Mary’s house for them and their three boys on their 4th day in the Dominican Republic! They also built the room for the computer lab at the community center and poured the footings at Jose’s house!
