The goal of the Eric Koby Adoption Fund is to bridge the financial gap for some families. Eric Koby was a man who lived his life sharing the gift of adoption through his actions and his family. Having 3 children all through international adoption, Eric exemplified James 1:27 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction..." He a
lso shared the message of adoption as a partner with his wife Heather. Together they spent many years giving seminars on adoption, helping couples overcome the fears that often kept them from taking that leap forward toward bringing an orphaned child into their family. In his personal life, Eric walked with many who were in the process and needed the encouragement of a friend to help them continue to move forward. He had always dreamed of creating something that could carry on a legacy which spoke the language of love for the orphan. Sadly, Eric went home to be with his heavenly Father on October 4th, 2016 at the age of 39. But his love and his name will now carry on through The Eric Koby Adoption Fund. Through this fund, we will help families through their adoption processes by carrying a bit of the financial burdens they incur. We do hope we will make him proud, and that one day his children will understand that he was a champion not only for them personally, but for so many children like them through his life as well as the legacy he has left behind.
