The Chattery

The Chattery is a nonprofit organization that strives to enhance our community through learning. We offer affordable, fun & accessible classes.

At the Chattery, we believe in enjoyable education and community collaboration by offering fun, accessible and affordable classes for everyone...with a few events sprinkled in between. We bring an unlimited variety of classes to our community ranging from mixology to flower arranging to financial planning. Our classes are suggested and taught by members of the community.

In all three workshops taught by Lauren O'Neill, you'll complete a small bowl basket project and learn the skills necessary to create larger baskets.

Good auto maintenance can save you a lot of money and keep your car running better, longer -- and the good news is, it's not that hard to learn.

This class focuses on oil changes, so you'll get your hands dirty and learn how to keep your ride smooth with easy oil change tips and tricks.

We'll start with some classroom teaching, then do a live, hands-on demonstration so you can walk away feeling confident changing the oil in any make or model of car.

Meet Briana!

Briana Williams is a Chattanooga native who has been enthralled by the MCU since 2008. After returning home in 2021, she noticed a lack of representation. She started Blerd Chattanooga in 2025 to create inclusive, fun and safe activities for lovers of all things nerdy to connect and interact.

On Thursday, June 25th, Briana is teaching A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you're ready to dive into the vast world of Marvel, but are intimidated by the amount of media within — this class is for you.

Today, let's celebrate Dallos Vinyl Love's first anniversary!

Our founders will be on-site (1463 Market Street) from 12 to 1pm, spinning a fun mix. Plus, a portion of the sales during this hour will benefit The Chattery!

If you need to add to your vinyl collection, Dallo's is where you want to be today. Anniversary activities will go from 10am to 8pm.

Our art supply thrift store is scheduled to open on Saturday, June 27th and we're still accepting donations.

Next Saturday (June 13th), catch us at Dallo's Vinyl Love. They're celebrating their first anniversary and we are so excited to be part of it.

From 10am to 8pm, you can experience on-site food & drinks for sale, free sweet treats while they last� and discounts. Each hour will highlight a different vibe master, representing different nonprofits.
