BYOB is back for its 15th year on October 24th!

You can expect the same old shenanigans you know and love, plus a few new additions and programming throughout the day. Auctions, raffles, games, and plenty more are on the schedule.

Join us at Stone Fort for a full day of climbing — All Day Passes are donations to the SCC! Fairway Boulders open at 1:30pm.

Then, from 6–8:30pm, head over to Burlaep Print & Press to keep the party going. Hang out with the community, play games, collect candy from our vendors, grab some food and drinks, check out our programming and activities, and get your raffle tickets and silent auction bids in.

And don’t head home after the announcements and raffles — stick around for a killer show from our friends at Good Noise Collective.

More details coming soon. Save the date for BYOB- October 24th!! Start prepping your Halloween costumes because we have BIG PRIZES for those this year 🎃 👻

The Citadel is one payment away from being paid off.

That’s right — we have just $25,000 left to pay off the loan and officially close this chapter on The Citadel.

In December 2023, the SCC secured The Citadel Boulders through an Access Fund loan, with support from the Lyndhurst Foundation, Riverview Foundation, and Georgia-Alabama Land Trust.

Since then, we’ve received immense support from City of Fort Payne , Adrenaline Climbing, Vulcan Materials Company , the Huntsville climbing community, Arc'teryx and contributions through the CLP program with Ground Up — all helping us continually pay down the loan and move closer to permanent ownership.

Now, we need your help to make that final payment.

This video introduces Rooted in the Southeast, the SCC’s new social identity celebrating the people, places, and stories that shape climbing across our region.

Over the next month, we’ll be sharing the story of The Citadel Boulders through the people who helped make this acquisition possible. The full film will premiere at BYOB on October 24.

Help us reach the final $25,000 and pay off The Citadel for good. Donate today on our website or using the link in our Instagram bio.

Have photos or videos from The Citadel — including footage from the 2026 Siege the Citadel — that you’d like to see featured in the film? Send them to [email protected].

Alabama came out swinging this year at Members Only Boulder Brawl & took home the trophy once again 🏆

But there was stoke all over, we even had a few folks from the Carolina’s come out to enjoy the pre-season psyche! 💪

In all seriousness, we appreciate our members so much and the opportunity to spend a full day of shenanigans & climbing with you all! Thanks to all that came out & to all our members that support the work we do everyday!

Huge shoutout to Horse Pens 40 for being such a great host year after year! 🪨

A big thanks to Benjamin Aughterson Lowe our ED, who crushed it on the BBQ this year & to all of our volunteers who blew it out of the park as usual!!

These photos are from get psyched., LLC & there will be plenty more from all of our photographers that we will share access to soon!

🔥 IT’S HERE. 🔥

The official 2026 MOBB artwork has landed — and we are SO stoked to finally share it with you. 👀

MOBB is one of our favorite days of the year because it brings climbers from across the Southeast together to compete, represent their home state, and celebrate the community that makes climbing here so special. 🧗‍♀️🧗‍♂️

And now it’s time for you to REP YOUR STATE. 🇺🇸

To compete at MOBB, you’ll need to be an SCC member — so if you haven’t joined yet, now’s the time!

⭐️ Become an SCC member
⭐️ Sign up for MOBB 2026
⭐️ Choose your state & start building your team
⭐️ Pre-order your 2026 MOBB tee by SEPTEMBER 1 👕🔥

Whether you’re competing, cheering from the sidelines, or showing up to rep your state, we want to see you there.

The artwork is here. The teams are forming. Let’s make MOBB 2026 one to remember.

Over the past few years, some of our Tennessee team have had the honor of rocking the one and only Dolly Parton at MOBB. 💗

This year, we hope to continue celebrating and honoring her incredible life and legacy.

We are heartbroken by the loss of such an iconic figure—especially someone who gave so much to Tennessee and our entire region. Dolly’s impact reaches far beyond music; her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for her community have touched countless lives.

Her legacy will live on in so many ways, and we hope to carry a little bit of that same generous and kind spirit into everything we do. 🦋💗
