HART Gallery TN When someone needs healing, hope and family, the Hart Gallery is a home with open doors. It has helped dozens of Chattanooga artists find their voice.

Our extended mission is to supply art materials and mentoring classes to other not-for-profit community organizations who can provide a space for their clients to participate in art classes. Works that are deemed commercially viable are sold through the gallery at affordable prices. Money from art sales are returned to the artist and the agency for their benefit.

This month in our Artists4Artists class, some of our artists learned different techniques for creating texture in watercolor paintings. From salt and rubbing alcohol to crayon, they experimented and figured out new ways to use watercolor paints.

We are looking for new teaching artists for these classes! Have a skill or technique you'd like to share? We would love to have you! Artists4Artist classes take place the 2nd wednesday of each month from 1-3 p.m. To become a teacher, call (423) 521-4707.

Today we're celebrating an incredible milestone!

Please note that Signal Centers' operations and programs including Hart Gallery, The Speech & Hearing Center, and our statewide CCR&R offices will close today at 12 p.m. as our team celebrates the retirement of Donna McConnico and recognize her years of dedicated leadership, service, and lasting impact on Signal Centers.
