Today at our monthly chapter meeting we had the opportunity to hear from the amazing Officer Lee Mayweather. He gave us so much pertinent information such as how to recognize the multiple scams that are out.He also told us what to do in so many instances to avoid being taken advantage of by the scammers. He also informed us of the OASIS PROGRAM and how it is there basically to help older adults who live alone feel safe and to know there is someone they can call and who will check on them monthly on a consistent basis.

We, as always recognized our members with May birthdays, did our monthly drawing, conducted our business meeting and had a wonderful lunch.

We would love for you to visit our chapter meetings on the First Monday of each month except July and August. Only in September will we meet on the 2nd Month of the month.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there.
