Students from Holy Family Catholic H.S. and the Holy Family BC2M (bring change 2 mins club) made posters with signatures and encouraging phrases for us to hang in our Drop-In center! Thank you for supporting mental health. Slam The Stigma is about community and nothing shows how great community can be more than students supporting other students! Stop down Wednesday between 3:00-6:00 for our high school drop-in before going to football games that night.

If you are coming to Saturday High School Drop-In tomorrow between 11:00-2:00, they are doing work on the parking lot. Park across the street in the old Coopers parking lot and you can walk in the sidewalks. Bring a friend and hope to see you tomorrow!

There will be no High School Drop-In tomorrow as we are at an event for Thumbs Up in Elk River, and no Drop-In on Wednesday because they are repouring the sidewalk infront of our space. We will be back open next Saturday 9/26! We will see you in a week!

So happy to be a part of Alive at the Links and Face It Foundation golf event yesterday! Great organization helping men dealing with depression and anxiety!

I can say that personally, if it wasn’t for the Face It Foundation, I might not be here and I know that there wouldn’t be a Slam The Stigma if it wasn’t for them. They make an impact on not just the men that are able to go to FREE peer support groups, but also all the people connected to those men.

If you are struggling with your mental health, find an organization like Face It that can help you. Life is about community and there is none better than this!

Giving high school kids a safe place to build community, learn destressing techniques, and having a safe space to talk about mental health. At Slam The Stigma we talk about community. It has been very moving to me to see the support that I have received from former players and the guys I have coached basketball with. Besides 8 golfers coming to support me and Slam The Stigma, I have had conversations and support from multiple other former players. It proves that you build community in the things you do and that no matter what, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I am here today because of a lot of the guys in this picture. Thank you for joining us at the 2nd Annual Slam The Stigma Golf Tournament.
