Today the MN running community, especially Life Time Run - St. Louis Park, suffered a loss. I may not have been close to Michael Volker but I appreciated him and his efforts. He impacted us runners.
On long runs, He was always on his bike making sure no person was left behind. No matter the weather, he was there checking up on us. I may not make it for the dedication run, today’s miles are for him.
The runners guardian angel impacted us all. And of course, today is a perfect day for a run. He will be there watching all who run today in spirit on his bike.
Thank you Michael for all the miles you made us feel safe.
