Good Morning ATO family! 🌅✝️

There’s a constant struggle inside of us—a battle for control. Our own willpower often fails us, leaving us frustrated and broken. So where do we turn when we realize we can’t manage life on our own?

The apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 5:16-17, 22-23:
“Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves… These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

True self-control is not about willpower. It doesn’t come by gritting our teeth and forcing ourselves to say “no.” Scripture calls it a fruit. And fruit doesn’t appear overnight—it grows over time.

As we stay connected to God and allow His Spirit to work in us, self-control and all the other fruits begin to bloom. Our job is to remain rooted in Him—the Holy Spirit will do the work of producing lasting change. 🌳🍇

Stay connected, stay faithful, and keep walking one step at a time.
As always, it’s Hope to the Hopeless! ☀️🔥🍎🍊📖💪

Good Morning ATO family! Living in recovery, we learn to accept responsibility for our actions. Just because we are powerless over our addiction doesn’t mean we can use that as an excuse to not own our past behaviors. We come to realize that all our actions yield consequences. Some of us may have fooled ourselves into thinking we can escape the consequences of the things we've done. But with time, it has become clear that God has made accountability a necessary element of healthy living. If we want to heal we must own our part in life, the good, the bad, and the ugly! "You will always harvest what you plant!:
Those who live only to satisfy their own si sinful nature will harvest decay and death| from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit" Galatians 6:7-8. The law of planting and harvesting can also work for us. God spoke through the prophet Hosea: "Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you" Hosea 10:12. God says we always reap what we sow. Even after we have been forgiven, we must deal with the consequences of our actions. It may take time to finish harvesting the negative consequences from our past, but we don't have to let this discourage us. It is possible to plant new seeds and grow through the recovery process when we take it one day at a time. We see others recover and we know it’s possible! As always my friends its, Hope to the Hopeless! ☀️🕶️☝️📖🔥💪❤️‍🩹💯

God has done and is continuing to do great things in Jimmy McGill’s life and ministry!

Even if I told you everything my God has carried me through, you would still have trouble believing it.

It’s still hard for me to understand, too.
