Simply put, Love INC helps churches help people. Love INC is now serving all of Carver County.

Love In the Name of Christ (INC) of Carver County pools compassion and resources from a network of churches and donors to serve our community neighbors in need. We partner with more than 33 local churches and hundreds of Christian volunteers who actively engage in transforming the lives of our neighbors in need. Love INC coordinates, clarifies, and verifies client needs and requests, and then offers the local churches the opportunity to participate in God's work of touching and impacting lives locally. The mission field doesn't have to be across the globe - often times, it's right across the street.

Our Executive Director Al shared some updates that made our whole week. 💛 We hope you get the same.

This spring, our Love INC client Caroline shared her story of finding freedom from addiction. She was expecting a baby then. Now we get to welcome baby Bexley! 👶

Bexley will be baptized in November at St. Victoria, one of our Love INC partner churches. Caroline shared the verse that has carried her:
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

God is not finished with any of us. Congratulations, Caroline, and thank you for letting us celebrate with you.

Registration for Thanksgiving Meal Kit Delivery is open now until November 16th! 🦃

If your family could use a little extra help this Thanksgiving, we’d love to bring a meal kit right to your door. Each kit includes a frozen turkey and the sides needed to prepare a family style Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks to St. Joseph Catholic Community and St. Victoria Parish, neighbors across Carver County can sit down to a full table.

🏠 Food is delivered right to your home

Our kitchen ministry helps neighbors stock a kitchen so they can cook for their families, and right now they are in need of pots and pans. Large pots are at the top of the list, the kind that can handle a big batch of pasta or a pot of soup for the whole family.

Our Winter Wear Drive is in full swing, and we have until October 31 to get warm things into the hands of Carver County kids and families.

What we need: winter coats, snow pants, warm boots, hats, and waterproof mittens and gloves, in adult and kid sizes. New or gently used is perfect. Please no tears, stains or broken zippers.

Today some of team got to visit Michael Foods in Chaska to accept a generous gift to Love INC of Carver County.

Thank you to everyone who spent Saturday night with us at Band Together. The music, the line dancing, and the heads or tails game made it an amazing night. And all of you. There were so many friends from last year and new faces as well. Thank you.

We'll be straightforward with you: we fell short of our goal for the event. We set an ambitious goal of helping 50 families get stabilized for a year through the work of Gather & Grow and Love INC. And we didn’t quite get there…so we're asking our community to give if you can.

Our goal is simple: help 50 families make it through a full year of hardship without going without food or the basics they need to keep their household running. That's the weight we want to help carry.
