That's how Jeff Burzinski, one of our founding members, describes what happened here 20 years ago in Carver County. A love story between the public sector, the private sector, and the church community. Between neighbors who didn't yet know each other but believed they were called to something together.

Stories like that deserve to be told. And preserved. While the people who lived them are still here to tell them.

Baseball, eggrolls, and neighbors helping neighbors? Sounds like a pretty great Wednesday night to us.

Join Love INC at the Chaska Cubs game this Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00 PM at Historic Chaska Athletic Park.

We’ll have a booth set up and would love for you to stop by, say hi, and help us stock up on personal care items for local families in need. You can bring items like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine care products, laundry soap, or other hygiene essentials. Cash donations are also welcome and deeply appreciated.

And because June 10 is officially National Eggroll Day, Eggroll Queen Food Truck will be on site too. So yes, you can support your community, cheer on the Cubs, and eat eggrolls all in one night.

Already full into planning. Save the date for the second annual Band Together!

Yeehaw, neighbors. Band Together is back, and this year we're going country western. Grab your boots and save the date: Saturday, October 3, 2026 at The Winery at Sovereign Estate Waconia.

Think good music, good wine, and a whole lot of community coming together for a great cause...for the second annual. So go ahead and buckle up, because things are about to get wild (okay, mildly wild). More details coming soon.

School is almost out, and you can already hear it coming... "Mom, I'm booored."

Before those long summer days set in, we want to put something joyful on your radar. VBS season is here, and our partner churches all across Carver County are throwing open their doors for a week of songs, games, crafts, way too many snacks, and stories that stick with kids long after the last day of summer.

Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite pictures of the Church in action. It is neighbors loving the next generation, welcoming every child who walks through the door, and reminding families that they belong here.

Jesus put it simply: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).

So if you are already wondering how to fill those summer weeks, here is a fun, faith-filled answer. Spots fill up fast, so now is the perfect time to look ahead and get your kids signed up. She called us when she needed help. Now she is the one helping others and sharing her journey.

That is Kathleen's story.

When Kathleen found herself in a hard season, she called Love INC. And what she received was not just practical help. It was a boost of confidence and the reminder that someone was in her corner. And now she speaks on stages about her transformation.

"When I was in that spot of feeling helpless, Love INC was there to help give me the things I needed, but also give me the boost and confidence I needed to go back out and improve my life."
Today, Kathleen is part of our team. She works hard every single day to make sure that every person who calls gets the same thing she did..a yes. Not a dead end. Not a voicemail. A real person saying, "we are here."

That is what 20 years of this work looks like. Lives changed so completely that people come back to change more lives.

Last night was one for the books. 💙

We gathered at Chaska Event Center for our ONE Love Annual Fundraiser and honestly, the room felt different this year. Record attendance. New faces who are just now finding their way into the Love INC story, and familiar ones who have been part of it since the very beginning, some of the original founders and board members of Love INC of Eastern Carver County, who helped build what we are today.

We heard from Caroline. Her story stopped the room. It was the kind of testimony that reminds you exactly why this work matters and what it means to feel seen, supported, and not alone in a hard season.

We also heard a mother’s story, one that quietly asked: what if Love INC had existed when she needed it most? That question lingered in a powerful way.

Between the live auction, heads or tails, the beautiful pop-up garden, and a room full of people who genuinely care about their neighbors, the evening was a celebration of 20 years of love made tangible in Carver County.

This is what it looks like when the body of Christ shows up. Not with programs or formalities, but with presence, with joy, with resources, and with open hands.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Today is the day. 💙

ONE Love is HERE and we could not be more excited. We are overwhelmed by the response this year with record attendance joining us tonight to celebrate 20 years of Love INC and the beautiful community that has made it all possible.
