And just like that… all six school districts we serve are back! 🎒✏️💙
A big welcome back today to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, joining Union County Public Schools, Gaston County Schools, Iredell-Statesville Schools, Kannapolis City Schools and Lancaster County School District for the new school year.
To all the teachers, staff, students and families — we hope it’s a great first day and the start of a really good year.
And to our educators: we’re cheering you on. We believe in you, and we’ll be here with supplies, resources and support today and throughout the school year.

There’s nothing quite like a good before and after. ✨

But look closer at the “after.” Behind every organized shelf, colorful wall, and carefully arranged desk are hours of a teacher’s time. Moving furniture. Unpacking boxes. Organizing supplies. Hanging displays. Labeling, planning and getting every corner of the room ready for the students who will soon walk through the door.

This week, as the last of the districts we serve head back to school, we’re celebrating all the work that happened before those classroom doors opened.

Here’s to the teachers who have already poured so much into making their classrooms feel welcoming, supportive and ready for a new school year. 💙📚

The DoubleTree by Hilton team showed up for teachers at the very first Free Store shop of the school year with a particularly delicious essential supply: chocolate chip cookies. 🍪💙
It was a thoughtful way to show appreciation for the educators and a very welcome treat as teachers stocked up on the supplies they need for the year ahead.

Thank you, DoubleTree, for going out of your way to make the first shop of the school year a little sweeter and to remind teachers just how much they are appreciated.

For two decades, Tee has brought heart and focus to turn needs into action — always to make sure teachers and students have the supplies and resources they need to achieve at high levels.
One of our principals may have said it best: “You are a joy and a light… an organizational and systems queen. Schools are so much better and brighter because of you.”
We couldn’t agree more. Tee, we’re so grateful for 20 years of everything you bring to every day. Here’s to this incredible milestone and the classrooms that are better and brighter because of you. 💛

Doing some back-to-school shopping? Pick up a few extra supplies for a local student while you’re there and bring them to Classroom Central on Wednesday.
