Crisis Assistance Ministry

Towing vehicles is their day job, but towing love, hot meals, and care straight to our neighbors is their passion! 🚗💨🍲

In recognition of World Food Day, we are reminded that ensuring every family has access to nourishing food starts right here at the community level.

A huge thank you to Ingram’s Towing and Recovery for stepping up to cater and serve delicious meals and essential care packages for our neighbors this past weekend. Ingrams Towing & Recovery

This marks their second with us, and rain or shine, their team brought big smiles, warm food, and generous hearts. When local businesses roll in to lift up our community, they help steer all of Charlotte toward dignity and stability.

Thank you for fueling our neighbors and leading with love!

Every day, an average of 80 families shop at no cost for clothing and household goods in our Free Store, a 5.3% increase from last year.

For many of us, buying new clothes or household essentials may feel routine. But for neighbors with limited incomes, being able to shop at no cost can ease a financial burden and create space in their budget for other essentials.

DAFdayCLT is here—and we hope you’ll help us put donor-advised fund dollars to work in our community. 💛

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), your next step is simple: recommend a grant to Crisis Assistance Ministry to provide emergency relief, advocacy, and pathways to self-sufficiency for neighbors facing financial crisis.

Why we’re asking
🏠You already gave it away—now is the time to recommend a grant
👨‍🦱Donor-advised giving can have a tremendous impact when DAF holders come together to give
🤲Your gift helps us create real change now, not later

That’s an official wrap on NONEVENT 2026! 🎬✨

Thank you to our incredible Greater Charlotte community for showing up, giving generously, and letting us entertain you with our intentionally terrible movie trailers this year. 🍿

While we had fun skipping the red carpet, your support creates very real impact. Every dollar raised directly helps our neighbors in financial crisis by:

Keeping vital utilities on (power, water, and heat) to ensure families stay safe and housed.

Funding essential programming that empowers neighbors with practical resources and guidance on the path toward financial stability.

Did you enjoy the bad movie trailer fun this year? Drop a comment below and tell us if you want to see more playful content like this! 👇

Thank you for skipping the event and standing with our neighbors. 💙
