ConCarolinas Where artists, authors, gamers, and geeks gather! ConCarolinas is a general multi-genre multi-media convention.

We called ourselves a sci-fi convention but in truth we cover all speculative fiction - science fiction, fantasy and horror. It hosts a variety of fandom related events and guests, including gaming, discussion panels, costume events, music events like Klingon Karaoke, charity auction, SCA events, fan groups like the 501st Stormtroopers, Starfleet, and Klingon Assault Group, and something different every year.

Join the celebration at the Hilton Charlotte University Place on the weekend after Memorial Day for the Carolinas’ longest running sci-fi and fantasy convention. It’s a weekend full of entertainment, gaming, costumes, authors, films, music, discussion panels, and workshops with professionals in the entertainment and creative community. Come celebrate geekdom and meet some of the region’s most creative minds. Our programming is designed to be fun and educational with an emphasis on literary arts, visual arts, and performing arts. We tie that all together with our love of science fiction, fantasy, superheroes, and gaming.

Remember, shopping with our vendors, authors, and artists does NOT require a badge purchase. Come out and support them at no charge. Badges are required for discussion panels, workshops, gaming, entertainment, and dance parties.
