We are pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the Frankie Graves / Mike Realon Scholarships.
Each year, the Southwest Charlotte Association awards $1,000 scholarships to students from Olympic High School and Palisades High School who are pursuing a technical degree at Central Piedmont Community College.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
Dillan Sol Keo – Olympic High School
Anna Nhi Nguyen – Olympic High School
Andres Aragones Bazurto – Palisades High School
Gael Rosas Garcia – Palisades High School
These scholarships are named in honor of Frankie Graves and Mike Realon, two career coordinators who faithfully served students, schools, and the Southwest Charlotte community for several decades.
The scholarship program is part of the Educational Outreach efforts of the Southwest Charlotte Association. In addition to student scholarships, the Association also provides direct grants to teachers at Olympic High School, Palisades High School, and two area middle schools.
