Camp without a campus. Community without compromise.

QT Summer Camp began because families asked for it. What started as one pilot week grew into a program serving 65 campers across five groups during summer 2026.

Founder Kyndra Luce, CLGBTCC’s 2026 LGBT+ Professional of the Year, built a mobile day-camp model centered on LGBTQIA+ young people and their families.

At the center of that model:

Western North Carolina is ready to CONVERGE.

On Friday, September 25, the Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce will present the inaugural CONVERGE LGBT+ Leadership Conference at Missed Path Sanctuary in Candler.

This regional gathering will bring together LGBTQ+ advocates, artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofit and faith leaders, elected officials, students and community builders for:

• Interactive conversations with regional leaders
• Community spotlights and the Launchpad
• LGBTQ+-owned businesses, artists, nonprofits and resource vendors
• Guided networking
• Music, food and a closing community picnic
