Tomorrow, on June 19th, we celebrate Juneteenth. A day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality. We are posting this today because tomorrow our office will be closed in observance.
We recognize that economic empowerment and social justice are deeply connected. Juneteenth is not only a time to reflect on the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, but also an opportunity to elevate and amplify the voices, stories, and achievements of Black entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders who continue to shape our region.
As we honor this important day, we reaffirm our commitment to creating platforms where Black-owned businesses, LGBTQ+ Black leaders, and historically underrepresented communities can thrive, be seen, and be heard. Their contributions strengthen our economy, enrich our communities, and inspire future generations.
On June 19th and every day, we celebrate freedom, acknowledge our shared history, and continue the work of building a more equitable and inclusive future for all.
