A new brand. Another make-a-thon. The same need: you!

Each year, Make for Good brings together a community of volunteer makers, who give their time and talent to help nonprofits share their missions with the world.

This year, we have 31 nonprofits who have applied for support across a variety of branding and marketing needs — identity, collateral, strategy, photo, video. You name it; they need it.

And we need you.

The Make for Good 2026 Make-a-Thon is on Saturday, November 7, and our signups for volunteer makers close on Wednesday, September 16.

By connecting skilled creatives with purpose-driven organizations and founders, we create more than logos, websites, and campaigns. We create opportunity, confidence, and momentum.

Let’s make change possible. Let’s make for good.

Mary with Affordable Housing for the Carolinas hoped to walk away from our 2025 make-a-thon with a strong and unified brand identity, ready-to-use branded materials, and a communications roadmap that would expand their reach, elevate their three core programs, and deepen their impact for families across the Carolinas. The maker team delivered that and so much more.

Seeing the amount of meaningful, quality work that comes out of these annual sprints — all created by talented professionals volunteering their time and energy — is always an amazing experience.

Being part of our Make for Good make-a-thon as a maker volunteer means you’re helping local nonprofits move their mission forward. It can also mean that you’re meeting other creatives, working with a collaborative, talented team, exchanging ideas, expanding your skill sets, and maybe even having fun doing it.

Make a Mark CLT success story ⚡️

Former nonprofit recipient Carey French trusted her maker team with an exciting task: creating a brand (name, logo, visual language, etc.) for her organization that was just beginning—a program dedicated to bringing up the next generation of bilingual educators through teaching internships.

came to life in 12 hours. Carey’s inspiring vision + her maker team’s remarkable talents produced a brand that became her mission’s launchpad. We are in awe of all Carey’s doing in the community today through Resound, and honored to played a small part in her big dream.

Makers, we need you 💪🙏

We have 28 nonprofits seeking support from Make a Mark CLT on November 15. We usually build teams of 3-6 creatives per project, and have so far heard from 25 of you talented folks!

So, our signups are officially extended. Please help us spread the word to get those numbers up by next Friday, 9/19! 🎉
